Equation Wizard Help. About a variable

X is traditionally used as a variable. But you can use any name that starts from a Latin letter and contains numbers and letters.

Example:

Var75

x3y5

Var2Find

The case of letters does not matter: Var or VAR or vAr.

Variables in the input field are highlighted in blue.

Note: an expression and an equation can contain only one type of a variable. Also, variables in the left and rights parts of an equation cannot differ.

Example:

Correctly Wrongly
2X2-4X+3 2X2-4Y+3
2X+3=(7+X)2 2X+3=(7+Y)2
